If you have an opened app on the screen and the alarm notification appears on the screen, after snoozing the alarm the phone shows the home screen instead of the screen with the app that was opened before the alarm notification appeared. Could this be fixed please?

@Neo, do you snooze the alarm by swiping it to the side when the application is minimized and home screen appears?
If an clock or calendar alarm dialog is swiped to the side, then the alarm in question is snoozed, and the home screen shown. In general, a side swipe always takes you to the home screen. For example, when the events view is open a side swipe will show the home screen, but a swipe up or down will show the previously open app.
If the alarm is either dismissed or snoozed by selecting the snooze/dismiss from the pulley menu, then the alarm dissapears (and be snoozed/dismissed depending on the selected action) and the previously open application is shown.
Yes, I snooze the alarm by swiping to the side. Thanks for the tip, tried the snoozing from pulley menu and the previous screen shows. I don't know if this is logical (the snooze action getting you to a different screen depending on how you do the snooze action), but anyway I am glad to know now how to solve my problem.

That's true multitasking: Being able to sleep (snooze) and not to sleep (using the handset) at the same time!
jgr ( 2014-03-28 21:52:59 +0300 )edit@jgr Some people do use the alarm function also for other purposes than just for waking up (e.g. taking a medicine), so the snooze function is used to postpone the notification for 5 minutes.
