I am having problem while updating my jolla to 1.0.4.20. When I try to update, it says "Problem With Store - Problem while upgrading untitled". I have tried resetting my factory settings twice. Still the same problem exists. Can anyone please help me out??

HI, have a look at some of the comments/answers to a very similar question asked here; (your question is a duplicate of sorts).

See the first comment from Anna, regarding 'pkcon kill' and then the answer from Corneliusg regarding OS update procedure - Incidentally, I did a total reset to install 1.0.4.2 update and I also skipped the downloads from Jolla store while doing so and my update installed perfectly.

Thanks Markkyboy for your comment. I have some problems reported here of that sort. But I have nowhere seen this error, "Problem while upgrading Untitled". And one more thing, I tried to enable developer mode, but in vain. It says "Enabling developer mode" and keeps showing that progress and never stops. Anyhow I'll try with your suggestion of installing the update before installing any apps.

I realise you're sorted now, but this is info for other users too.

I noticed a comment on Jolla United Kingdom's page, where a user had the same message you got, "Problem while upgrading untitled", his remedy was;

"Thanks to someone's comment on your link I found the solution. In the midst of disabling Openrepos repos, I accidentally enabled the 'home' repository. Disabled it and now the update's downloading"

Hi Venom - care to elaborate on how Jolla Zendesk helped you out??, just so others can see the remedy without possibly contacting Jolla...?

Try to heal your phone in the Recovery Mode using a PC. Enable recovery mode as instructed in the attachment - but at step 14 take option #4 "Shell" (instead of #5 or #1) and do the following commands (one-by-one) - they are to heal the package database: mount /dev/mmcblk0p28 /mnt chroot /mnt cd /var/lib/rpm rm -f __db.00* rpm --rebuilddb reboot Disconnect the phone. Detach the battery. Put it back. Turn phone on. Try Store now.

Due to the limitation in characters, I',m posting my remaining comment here.

https://jolla.zendesk.com/attachments/token/jzhJabGIUhPCOdpowwLDXwGE1/?name=Recovery+Mode+on+Windows+%28WIN+7%29+v+4.pdf - This is the link for enabling recovery mode using a PC.. P.S : Please try to copy/paste the commands instead of typing by yourself.

Cool, thanks for replying, that should be really useful for other users.

By the way, you can ignore the 'character count' when typing a long comment, just keep typing, it will post 8-)
