google email fails - connection page stays white [answered]

This happened since I'm on another (very slow) wlan connection. Not sure if they block ports, what I can say is that (google) email works through the browser.
email didn't sync for a day
- so I found out that there is a problem
- (WHY is there no message to alert me???)
manually selecting the google account:
- message, not connectect [Nicht angemeldet]
- I push connect [Jetzt anmelden]
- there is a white (blank) page and on the upper right corner I could push authentication [Authentifizierung]
- but nothing happens if I push authentication
What's going on? Why does google email no longer work?
This is critical, I need (google) email working!! Is there any workaround? Is there any more info needed? Thanks.
check the notifications, you probably need to re enter your identification for the google account. I have the problem and it sometimes happens 2 or 3 times a day.

Somehow it seems that the google login page cannot be displayed. But why? For the record: I can login to this google account through the browser.

Both accounts were working, but I was wandering around, and accidentaly opened 'Update login settings' - or what ever is it in english. Got an empty white page. After that the account is not working anymore. I deleted the account, and tried to add it again. But got that white page instead of a page asking my login data. I have another google-account, which is working. So setting the login data seems to be the only problem. My version is 1.1.2.16.
hsjpekka ( 2015-05-02 16:24:15 +0300 )editSounds like a issue with the webkit cache, did you skip some updates ? You can try to remove it, delete all files inside this dir, note that this is a hidden dir:

If I open log in -page, I get a blanc white page. There is some coloring on top of it to indicate pull down menu. But pull down does not work. Questions and Users pages are ok. I bought my phone in January, and I have installed the updates that the phone informs me about. The first one I installed after taking the phone out of the box, and the second one was updating to 1.1.2.16 yliaavanlampi.
