android apps cannot use photo captured v1.0.5.16

launch whatsapp

start a chat

attempt to send a photo to your chat buddy

android camera interface appears. click to snap a picture.

whatsapp shows a popup about sharing not being possible. exact message - 'sharing failed. please try again'

just an update. this problem only happens if i use the paperclip icon at the top right of whatsapp. if i use the camera icon at the bottom right, it works fine.

The photos taken by the Android camera appear to be owned by a different user (uid 10016 running com.android.gallery3d in my case) than the user used to run the original application that started the camera (uid 10015 in my case) and the mode of the photos is 0600 so the original application can't access the taken photos.

good one @os. it seems like a simpler fix (hopefully) via permissions tweaking that Myriad can implement soon.
