[feature-request] Ability to protect the SD card with a password [released]

In additon to the device encryption (discussed here) we need the possibility to protect our SD card with a password to not worry about all the private data in case of losing the device/SD card.

I'd consider this higher priority as anyone can remove the SD card easily to read its contents.

Totally agree, this is kind of a basic feature. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#Card_password

For encrypting (partitions on) SD cards with a password-file residing on internal storage (eMMC) and automatically mounting them at bootup, see the Guide: Creating partitions on SD-card, optionally encrypted.

SD card encryption actually has been released with Sailfish OS 3.0.0.x.
