My http stream (from my MPD daemon) does not play in Jolla’s media player, but it plays fine in the web browser. It doesn’t seem to work with neither vorbis nor lame encoding.

I tried to play it by adding the stream’s URL to a .pls file. I tried the URL with and without the file extension.

Ok, but I’d like to do it in the official media player for Jolla.

Official Jolla's media player is realy minimalist, and i think it will stay that way for a while. It has been made to play local music and videos shot by the phone, nothing more. In my opinion, exotic uses like http stream aren't a priority.

I tried the LLs Video Player, but the stream doesn’t play in it either.

LLs Video player is not available on jolla store, shame,
not verified ! Why ? or developer don't want ? like Sami-Perkele, i would like out of box allow multicast stream iptv rtp protocol if need with little cost for license codec rtp://239.186.
