Hi,

I found this addressed as a bugfix in the last major update but for me it's still not working:

  • photos taken in landscape mode look normal when viewed in the gallery but when sent via mitakuulu or mms they always arrive turned upside down.

  • in addition to that photos in portrait mode look normal too in the gallery but when sent via mitäkuulu or mms they are always rotated 90°.

I couldn't find any reference to such a problem here besides said changelog remark from the last major update.

Does anybody happen to be able to have a solution for this or might be able to point me towards one?

Thanks in advance,

Paarlampi update fixed exif storage within pictures taken by the camera, so they are now shown correctly by the gallery. This sounds like Mitäkuuluu, an independent developement by coderus, has issues with exif data. Can anyone confirm? Maybe this is already filed as Bug to them?

i don't know, which part ist responsible for this behaviour. when sending photos via mail they arrive with the correct orientation. only sending them via mms or mitäkuulu makes them turn. mitakuulu is 3d party software, but what about mms?

I'm seeing a related issue as well. The picture display correctly in the gallery, but when I open an individual picture it shows rotated by 90 degrees, and the image details claim the image has 0 height and width. Only stock applications involved.
