I am triying to update my (openrepos) apps which doesn't work because I am experienceing some problems with the package management:

[nemo@Jolla ~]$ pkcon refresh
Refreshing cache
Waiting in queue
Waiting for authentication
Waiting in queue
Starting
Refreshing software list
Fatal error: Cannot write file '/var/tmp/AP_0xqsXFAo/repodata/repomd.xml'.

I already tryed this solution but it's not working:

[nemo@Jolla ~]$ ssu s
Device registration status: not registered
Device model: Jolla (SbJ / JP-1301)
Device UID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Release: 1.0.5.19
[nemo@Jolla ~]$ ssu domain
Device domain is currently: sales
[nemo@Jolla ~]$ ssu domain sales
Changing domain from sales to sales
[nemo@Jolla ~]$ ssu ur
[nemo@Jolla ~]$ pkcon refresh
Refreshing cache
Waiting in queue
Waiting for authentication
Waiting in queue
Starting
Refreshing software list
Fatal error: Cannot write file '/var/tmp/AP_0xEPaCuh/repodata/repomd.xml'.

no comment for a whole day? So i dare to share my "slight feeling" about this. Have you routed out file permission problems? /var/temp/ should be open for all and show drwxrwxrwxin filebrowser. Are there any AP_* folders in /var/temp/ that cannot be overwritten?

@mosen The directory var/tmp is accessible with a filemanager (without root privilegs) and the directory permissions are activated for each one. I don't see any folders beginning with AP_* but I also run the command 'zypper clean -a' yesterday (if this is affecting anything) but if I remeber it right there were no folders of this typ when I checked it the last time (before running zypper clean -a).

I am also experiencing several other problems with my Jolla now: see next comment

The warehouse client is crashing and starts only after about 2 minutes, I had some e-mail sync problems, the overall experience is really laggy, my settings (like deactivated WLAN won't remeber after a reboot and my Ambience will change after EACH reboot to one I chosen some days ago.. thats very strange. Also the Fatal error changed after running 'zypper clean -a' to(BTW it takes about 8 minutes to initiate the refreshing now): Fatal error: Authentication failed (is SSU set up correctly?)

ouch... sorry to hear. Are you planning to do a factory reset or want to go to the root of the problem?

Hm I am reluctant to do a factory reset but if its needed I have to do it :D But I would like to know whats the problem and why it's occured.. I think it started after I copied some music over MTP without installing all drivers on the computer (because you have to search and download the drivers for Jolla .. a real pane on a foreign computer).

Check you're not out of space as btrfs space issues manifest themselves in exactly this sort of way. It's worth going through some of the steps in this TJC question. Good luck!

That's it - I seen this thread but didn't thought that I could get out of space with 8GB of free space.. :D Going to clean up my Jolla tomorrow and maybe do a factory reset. :)

Update: I ran the command btrfs fi balance /home after cleaning up my Jolla and all went successful and my Jolla is working again. :)

This is a really nasty bug and should be fixed as fast as possible.
