Bug: Some application names not shown in Store [released]
Under some conditions, some application names are not shown in the Store. See the attached screenshots.
This bug does not occur for everyone, but for those whom it does occur, it is always the same applications that are shown without a name.
Based on a few observations I've made, it looks like this may happen when
- the application has a description available in Finnish, and
- the store user's Jolla account language is Finnish (so he/she sees descriptions in Finnish), and
- the phone UI is in Finnish.
However, even when these conditions are met, not all applications with a Finnish description are shown without a name.
Debugged this with my apps, Siika and Heebo.
In Harbour, Heebo has only English language, Siika has both English and Finnish. Heebo shows title, Siika doesn't.
This is also related to jolla account language. It fails if my language is set to Finnish, but title is shown when account is in English (Phone language has no effect)
In harbour, you can enter only one Title, and seems that when app has 2nd language, it tries to fetch title according to that, but title is available only in English (?)

sdjayna ( 2014-06-10 20:13:38 +0300 )editThe problem seems to be partially fixed now; for instance the apps shown in the screenshots now have visible names. However, there are some new apps that don't have -- at least Yle Areena (or whatever its name is, I don't see it), and Sailfactor (which wasn't suffering from the problem earlier, but now it is, after a new release).
