How to install Sygic? [not relevant]
I have tried to install Sygic from 1Mobile Market and from Aptoide. When trying to run it I get message "Downloading resource from GooglePlay failed." And program shuts down. I there a way to make Sygic run?

Install Google Play, as mentioned before: instructions. Install Sygic from there. It's also possible to install it from an .APK file. I've got Sygic working well, now. I've had issues with GPS-signal before, but now it's ok (after a factory-reset).

You must buy it from Sygic.com. After that, your email is associate between your google account and Sygic. All is working for me :)
TellienInTouch ( 2014-04-29 14:40:34 +0200 )editI installed directly from Google Play, and it works fine. So, if not buying direct from Sygic as above post suggests, it would appear that Google Play must be installed to enable it to work (there are in app purchases, which presumably need the Play framework to function properly)
strongm ( 2014-04-29 15:26:27 +0200 )editOnly version 14.0.0 from Aptoide was working without Google Play service, dowloading additional data from(?). Did give up and set up Google finally. Now version 14.0.2 is going to download data from google again and is working.
But there are some small "screen stuck" bugs, when speed information is working, but map is frozen.
aarengu ( 2014-04-29 16:51:30 +0200 )editYep, it is 14.0.2 that I am running. Not noticed the stuck screen issues.
