I have had that problem too, only solution I have found, is to create the event in another calendar system, owncloud in my case, and sync it into the phone.

I have even tried to set the end date to the last date the event should be active (with weekly repeat), this gives some really wrong results: One entry each day the first week, two entries each day for the next and so on!

Is this a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/23743/recurring-repeating-calendar-entries-end-date-is-missing/ ?

The latter one is closed as "released in a software update tahkalampi"

So this question might get closed, too.

Recurring events will go on until you manually delete the event. At least at the moment. if that was the original question!

Yes that was the question. Why do Jolla invent the calendar again. Nokia had very good calendars already 10-15 years ago
