Is there a long press for £ currency sign?

Seems to be one for Dollars and Euros but can't find UK £

No, there isn't one. There's €, $ and even ¥ but no £. I wonder what key it should be added to?

No long press but it is on the keyboard. press the ?123 button, then switch to the second view with the 1/2 button and it is there on the first row.

£ sign was originally based on the letter L so that might be the best key to add it to.

The '£' is actually a letter 'B', as in Bradbury; it's not based on an 'L'.

Back in 1914 on the 7th of August, in order to avoid a run on the banks, the Treasury issued Treasury Notes signed by John Bradbury - a form of national credit backed by the credit of the nation! :)
