  1. I have a google calendar account. I am never sure, if the calendar is syncronised. I didnt find the option to force a syncronisation.
  2. I never get an alarm when a calendar-event rises.
Why is in settings-apps the calendar-icon greyed out? I expect there to find a possiblity to edit calendar settings, syncronisation schedule, alarm options etc. etc. All i find is calendar pulley option settings, and there just the option to enable-disable and to assign a color.

1) The next update will contain far more (and more obvious) synchronization settings for all currently supported data synchronization with Google, via the Account Settings UI, including the ability to manually perform synchronization or to cause synchronization to be triggered on local change etc.

2) Alarms will be given only for calendar events which have a Reminder associated with them.

3) The calendar application settings page is something that will be developed more thoroughly in the future. Work is ongoing to improve the jolla-calendar application in general, don't worry!

Cheers, Chris.

I have never-ever had any alarms from Google calendar - although they work well in browser and N9 via caldav. I have missed some meetings because of this and it is really annoying not to have alarms :/
