This is a standard feature in iPhone I believe (and very convenient). Any reason why this is not available on Jolla ?

You are able taking pictures with both volume buttons so I don't see any reason to add this functionality also to the power button.

Shutter is piloted by the Volume buttons.

camera trigger with volume button ist better than nothing, but if you ask a non jollauser to take a picture with your jolla, the first thing happens is the jolla gets powered off. I would appreciate the powerbutton as camera trigger, (as long the camera app is in foreground); if this is not possible, at least disable powerbutton in cameramode. (or show a countdown when switching off like in the picture-deleting-process)
