[Suggestion] Background solid when no app is running + fading animation

It would be cool to tweak the ambiance / background settings for the first page (the one right after the lock screen, if you swipe up) to show a more solid background (so no opacity or dark overlay) when no application window is opened. So that you can make more out of your background. If an application window is opened the dark overlay or opactiy change will kick in for the background (so it looks like how it does now with 1.0.5.19) .

The best would be also when the background would have an fade animation regarding state changes so that it fades smoothly out when an application window(the first) is opened or fade in when the last window is closed.

For those ones who hate those animations it would be nice to be able to turn this effect off in the settings under display.

That would be visible for just couple of seconds after rebooting the phone. Why would you close all applications?

To save battery sometimes closing apps that try to connect to the network helps also apps that use some cpu also when running in the background.
