New videos and pictures disappear from device [answered]

Took some pictures and filmed some video yesterday and this morning. Now I cannot find them anywhere in the gallery! Also checking with file browser there's nothing new in the related folders. Anyone had something similar happen? I don't actually know if those files even got saved in the first place.

My OS version is 1.0.5.19. I did install a 2gb SD card yesterday (transferred it from my Lumia), but fail to understand how this could cause any problems?

Ok. Just tried to record another 5 sec video. Nothing in the gallery! Or the video folder.

It is probably a tracker issue - not indexing the media files. Next time you can try running:

tracker-sd-indexing.sh

or

systemctl --user restart tracker-miner-fs.service

Ha! Restarted the device and files returned to my gallery. Weird Stuff. Can someone explain why this happened?
