After using my Jolla now for almost half a year, I am feeling more and more uncomfortable to have the important phone states hidden when using the phone.

In my opinion a small notification bar like on the N9 doesn't take a lot space but will enhance the overall user experience. It could display the reception quality, the clock and some important notifications like new messages.

I didn't have an N9, but not having a notification bar is one of the major selling points of Jolla

It is a real full screen and you can have these informations with just one small move. I think this notification bar is not necessary but I understand you can be annoyed without it. Force of habit probably.

At the beginning, I thought also that the hidden notifications are great and unique. But now I see more and more drawbacks of this concept. A small notification bar doesn't take a lot of space.

@kMan I disagree, it is really easy to peek the notifications from everywhere!

@dsilveira: Personally I do not want to interact with the UI, if it is not necessary. And for example, it is more than a peek away, if you are in the app launcher.
