On a paired Win7 PC I select several pictures or music files, right click and select "Send To" option in order to send the files to the phone. The Windows Bluetooth transfer dialog shows that the first file transfer has completed and goes into a "pending" state trying to transmit the next file. This fails with a "request can not be honoured" message.

Looking at the phone, the first file transfer is still in progress. The phone's progress bar indication is only at around 30% when the PC reports that it is complete.

I presume that since the underlying transfer of a given file is still in progress any consecutive ones fail after a timeout period; resulting in the "Request can not be honoured" message.

It is related with the file size. I made a test and when you are transferring small files there is no issue. This problem was detected before, but I didn't see it because usually I transfer small files by Bluetooth. It is faster by cable for larger files.

Thanks for this information, I was indeed experiencing that with music files (4-5MB)

I think its not related with files size, because I try to transfer 10 small pictures ( 500 - 600 Kb) and failed!
