Accesspoint model experience with the Jolla

At home I have an old Linksys accesspoint and thinking about replacing the unit with a new one. This is also inspired by the experience at the end of the winter where I was a week at another location where the Jolla had much less WLAN connection problems. That was an ISP provided unit.
The question: with which accesspoint (manufacturer and model) does the Jolla work good or not?
