ComponentGallery, panels, erratic behaviour

In the ComponentGallery application, at Panel -page, the DockedPanel 'progressPanel' is shown momentarily while changing device orientation.
Also in landscape orientation, DockedPanel 'controlPanel' is not shown. Contents of page moves to make room, but nothing is shown.
