Would it be possible to add some sort of fast mode for camera app? It is difficult to get good pictures from a moving target.

By changing ISO (higher) and exposition correction settings (negative) will improve image quality for faster moving targets (thanks Macilaci457 for the tips). These settings are however not easy to manage since these have to be set to take a moving picture and then reversed to take a proper still picture.

As summary, one automated button for fast camera mode would be great. This is easier to set up and reverse compared to manual setting for ISO and exposition correction.

Just a camera tip: use higher ISO, and with faster moving targets, follow it with the camera while taking the picture. This way the target does not move that fast relative to the camera, also it may blur out the background a little if You are lucky.

Another tip: set expositon correction to negative. While mobile lenses are fixed apperture, you still (and only) can play with shutter speed, and this is what you need to speed up, shorten the sutter speed.

Thanks for the tips! Topic description now updated. It still would be great to have a separate mode for fast photo shooting because often you need to take pictures fast and setting up would take some time to do so.

There was actually a suggestion about this some time ago, about "themes" aka groups of settings. "sports" was one of those

Week ago I was in Neste Oil Rally Finland and tried to take a photo of a moving rally car. Tried different kind of settings and found out that also camera performance should be improved. Even with different focusing settings it was difficult to take a photo due to camera delay. I recon there is always some delay in a mobile device, but this should be minimized as well.
