I can't watch some live channels i.e. ETV and ETV2 (Estonian National TV programmes) on Sailfish-browser. It is the same story with watching videos which are not on Youtube. According to ETV and ETV2 the offered solution is to download arcMedia app but I could not get it anywhere. About videos outside Youtube I don't have any idea what I should do. So my question is: How to watch live channels and videos outside Youtube on Sailfish-browser?

You can watch videos which aren't on Youtube. But it might be that ETV live channels need Adobe Flash player. Flash player isn't supported by Sailfish browser. There are two possibilities to solve your problem, both need Android app support enabled:

  1. Try to find the ETV-live TV application (or similar) for Android. In case application is only available on Google Play, use this link (http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/) to download APK-File and install it on Sailfish OS.

  2. Use an Android webbrowser (like FIrefox) and Flash plugin. You find Firefox as well as Flash player for example in Yandex store. Otherwise you can download Flash APK here: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.69/install_flash_player_ics.apk

Install Firefox and Flash player and try to visit your TV-website again. I hope that works - if you have any questions please ask.

etv-live and etv2-live (in app) need arcMedia on Jolla to funtionate but I don't know how to make it work with it. I can download Flash player form http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.69/install_flash_player_ics.apk but when I open it, it pushes me to the Sailfish browser on the page https://settings.adobe.com/flashplayer/mobile/ and nothing happens - only dark grey background shows up. What should i do?
