We need to update both Jolla Account and Store backend services in preparation for the upcoming update. We will start the work after we have posted this message. During this time you will not be able to use the store-client or the Jolla account website. We expect to need about 3 hours to complete all upgrades and migrations.

I'll post an update when all work is done.

Apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused.

Sounds good. I'm not affected by this, but I do wonder if there's the opportunity to give slightly more warning for future intentional account/store downtime, as I'm sure someone somewhere will be trying to load the store to grab some software and wishing they had done it earlier.

I wanted to see what the Store looks like during the update. It just gave some general error stating that there's a problem with the server or something. Now, that's not a very user friendly message. What I'd like to see is a bit more detailed message when maintenance tasks are being executed. For example, if the error message just says "Store is being updated. Go away.", then user would know why the Store is down. If I hadn't read this announcement I probably would have checked my network connections and tried rebooting or something just to get the Store working.

@BirchFish I'll raise a feature request for that, it's a good idea.

Lots of apps seem to be missing lots of comments now.

I get some Problem with store messages when i do stuff. I try to install YTplayer and doesn't work + i installed and uninstalled email and it threw a store related error when i uninstalled it. Also some apps like meecast and ytplayer are missind icons.

Also I have a weird thing with viewing the installed apps in Jolla Store -> My apps. Currently it shows only one application. But if I check through different Categories, installed apps are visible there. I have tried known tricks for store-client, corrupted "rpm db" and also removed and re-added Jolla account via Accounts. But this the same thing, only on installed app visible in My apps.

Edit: Ok, seems that I'm not the only one: https://together.jolla.com/question/44837/bug-my-apps-in-jolla-store-is-empty/
