I changed the display of my jolla phone with another one and need to recalibrate the screen - is this somehow possible?

Original question: In my Jolla phone touchscreen digitizer has a significant positioning error by the right edge of the screen. Due to that, it is hard to use the virtual keyboard: buttons are already small and to get the right char I need to tap not the key I need, but something like 1/2 button's width to the left from it.

Having a simple screen calibration utility, like the one which was present on N900 and N9, would help alot.

n9 didnt have that either. Maybe you should contact care as capasitive touchscreens usually dont need calibration.

Despite that, it would be really nice to have keyboard calibration. I've found in the keyboard usage that one presses at the same place for the same letter. It almost seems like the squares susceptible for a key press should not be exactly the squares for the letters drawn on the screen. For me this happens the most for the center keys (i.e. hitting the F/H instead of the G), which is logical as your fingers come from the left/right and might be a bit off.

Well, then perhaps it is a bug in the VKB implementation...

I often do mistakes while I am typing on VKB, my problem is that my fingers block the keyboard and I cannot see that area, and trust me I do not have large fingers. The end result is that a lower part of my finger is already in contact with the screen without me realising that. In N9 that problem is even worse, but the larger size of Jolla's vkb improves the situation.

Or a bug in my fingers-eye coordination :)

It seems calibration IS needed for even those screens - the touchscreen does react on the bottom of the screen, it justs "clicks on another position". Does somebody know if the screen gets recalibrated by factory reset?
