I created a 'System' folder and could simply move the icon in there. But deleting the file in /usr/share/applications/ should work fine also. simkit.desktop is the one to go for. ;)

Perhaps asking the obvious, but once removed, can one reinstall it again just as easily with pkcon install simkit?

Thank you very much-this command is what I`m looking for and it works great! No matter,if this thing will come back after a system update.

I put it in a folder but it is outside of this folder every time I reboot... annoying! So uninstalling it was the only way.
