armdeb repos from maemo (n900) [answered]

since jolla supports armel deb it would be have a native repo for easy and fast downloads with tons of linux apps. i'm pretty sure jolla supports most n900 apps without modding.

Sorry no that wont work, n900 uses armv7l (thx @MartinK), Jolla armv7hl, the processors are different. The binaries don't run. Also n900 used .deb package format, Jolla rpm. n900 uses X11, Jolla Wayland. N900 used GTK, Jolla Qt. There are just do many differences to make that just work out of the box. Developers need to adapt, recompile and repack the software.

N900 is armv7 soft-float, but otherwise you are correct. :)
