Make bulk other halfs available for developers

The Other Half development could expand a lot if there would be dummy bulk plastic other halfs available for developers with reasonable pricing. Not everyone can or want to print own TOH, nor does the physical or visual characteristics match with injection molded other halfs.
Would it be leather covers made on top of plastic, painted covers, covers with add-on electronics or just a cover as platform to develop and build on anything, developers need it. There could be batches of five or ten covers in bulk packaging. White, black, may be other colours too. No need for nice retail packaging, printed texts or NFC stickers. No software installing or ambiance changing when attaching the other half. Just a way to get lower the price and make physical TOH development kit available for TOH developers.
Current pricing for new TOH is 29 € for black, red and aloe and 349 € for white (with bonus phone).
Actually for smart TOH dev. a back with a flat cable connector wired to the I2C port would be needed for prototyping.
