Is it possible to have more basic info on lock screen like date, day of the week week, battery and WAN state. It would be ideal if one could optionally add more information like current IP address, VPN state, GPS state, silent/loud state to the currently very empty home screen!

I would tend to mark this ad dup of https://together.jolla.com/question/616/suggestion-date-on-lock-screen/ since also there the end result of the discussion is to let users configure what is shown on the lock screen
As there are many cases like this where questions partly overlap, it would be great if the forum had.a feature to merge questions, with their vote and comment histories.
Concerning this question now the generality is in the same level in both as the other question had been updated. Also it might be better to continue discussion there, cause there were originally more votes for that question.

Do you mean lock-screen or home-screen? Sounds more like lock-screen and that will be enhanced either by jolla or billboard at first.

ibins ( 2013-12-24 20:56:44 +0300 )editI would love a little key icon on the right side of the time to indicate when the lock code is active. I have swiped up the feeds view too often without it sticking, and retried in frustration before realising, that I should have unlocked the phone first.
