With the latest update, the calendar app has stopped saving new events. The old events are still there. I've been using the google calendar by default but even when that's disabled I still can't save local events.

I haven't tried a reset yet.

Same problem here, using only local calendar. Rebooting fixed it (for now)

Still the same with 2.0.0.10:

  • Create event, select a Google calendar as "calendar"
  • save
  • event is missing from calendar
  • a few seconds later: event pops up
  • check on Google calender: no event created
  • wait a few minutes: event vanishes from Jolla calendar

Terrible! Worst possible user experience: positive visual feedback with negative result. At least, give me an error message when the event could not be synced.

Yes, I checked that my Google account is active in Account settings. Another nuisance: I still get logged out without any notice over and over again. Also, when I am logged out, why does the calendar app not even care to notify that nothing can be synced right now?

I had the same issue (I'm using microsoft exchange) and to resolve it I had to delete the account and recreate it.

Since then it worked fine

I had tried that, didn't work. I ended up resetting the device. All good now.

I have recreated my Google account on Jolla so often - if at all, it only helps temporarily.
