I use ActiveSync to sync my contacts via HORDE to my Jolla. When i delete contacts on the phone, they wont get deleted on the server. Does some one else has this problem too?

EDIT: Should be fixed in the latest version 1.0.7.16 but not for me!

EDIT2: first contakt deleting ... access showed up in access-log second contact deleting .... nothing showed up in access log. Option is to be "sync with no delay".

Do they never get deleted in server side even after a manual update in the email app ? It can be that exchange is constantly syncing changes to email since it's is in always up to date mode and contacts changes get delayed(they have less priority).

I do not sync my mails via ActiveSync. The IMAP-Server is on a different machine. I just tested it again, with e-mail sync active (with no valid imap server). Contact Deleted on the phone, even after restarting the phone the contact is not deleted on the Server. A new created Contact is also not synct to the phone right now.

What means "low priority", how long do i have to wait? On my iPhone the Sync via ActiveSync works like a charm.

Ok ... waiting now for 45 minutes to sync ...... nothing :( Will comment again in a few hours ... if it works. But even 45 minutes is too long for "low priority".

@kmh - If email is not synced is a different case, you have always-up to date selected in settings and you are inside a peak time, right ? In that case it should sync immediately both ways.

Can you collect the logs when deleting contact on device side, after delete wait at least 2 mins before copying the log file:

enable logging, in:

/home/nemo/.config/Nokia/activesync.conf

Enable file log and add a path for the log, like for example:

   [FileLog]
   Enabled=1
   Path=/home/nemo/Documents/as.log

Reboot the device and then reproduce the problem, examine the file to see if you want to remove some data, your email address, calendar entries names and folder names can be presented there, send me the logs to mail-logs at jolla dot com. After that turn file log off again by setting "enabled" to 0.Thanks a lot!

I send you the log.... with some errors! I dont want to post it here as it contains many private data.

Like this one...

[1374] Juli 15 15:28:06 [Debug] AS_LIB :  2 adds: 1 ok, 1 failed; 15 changes: 0 ok, 15 failed; 0 deletes: 0 ok, 0 failed
[1374] Juli 15 15:28:06 [Debug] General :  ExternalFolder "@Contacts@" ( "Contacts" ): clientSyncFeedback addSucc 1 , addFail 1 , updSucc 0 , updFail 15 , delSucc 0 , delFail 0

Even if i delete an existing Contact which is synced the deleting does not even appears in the log. No "delFail" or "delSucc".

I can only see some lines like these ones:

[1010] Juli 15 15:26:44 [Debug] AS_LIB :  Folder @Contacts@, Class: 3, SyncKey {XXX}6, DeletesAsMoves = 1, WindowSize = 100, normal mode: synchronizing client changes

But i dont know what they mean ....
