which other halfs are developed right now? Keyboard-Oth!?! [not relevant]

so as i was searching the net for other halfes, i found many nice prototypes. the solaroth, the wirelesschargingoth and of course the keyboardoth. really nice and in my opinion a lot more usefull than any ambientlightoth. i already searched for some solarpannels to build one myself..
the question now is: are there any projects i could support with for example a preorder like they are doing it for the neo900? i thought the idea of a hardwareupgrade via oth is one of the most promising possibilities to make jolla a success and i believe it is necessary to offer some oth with more potential than just another ringtone or ambiente even if i really apreciate this feature...

In fact, i'm wondering why nothing id done. The could ask us which other half we need, we dream. If many users need one, they could say "we are planning to do it", "its a great idea but we can't realise it, but here are the things to know to create it" or "forget this idea". I dont know something!
Today someone who can print 3d other half and have the technical knowledge to realise them can't know if Jolla is planning ro realize it or not After so many months there should be a place where ideas, suggestions, questions and communication from Jolla about those other half exists. They had a great idea to become "unlike" but they dont care about their idea...
enki ( 2014-06-26 13:44:12 +0300 )editi totally agree. and on the other hand google is already trying to take the idea of a modular phone... actually i read a lot about users who don't like touchscreen to write. i'm one of them. i'm still using my n900 for that reason... so please dear sailors, let us try to gather some info about what oth is needed and how we could realise it as fast as possible...

I would definitely like to see a shop with Jolla accessories that would include various other halfs. Being able to experiment on my own is nice, but I'd like to be able to buy something more solid. Something already tested.

.. yes i'm impatient, but i don't want google to realise the modularphone idea before there is an open alternative. i actually bought my jolla cause i thought all this will happen littlebit faster...
