how to update OS 1.0.2.5 to 1.0.7.16 on mij N9

I ported sailfish 1.0.2.5 on mij Nokia N9, but i can not update it to 1.0.7.16. De update check say its uptodate. How can i fetch it to 1.0.7.16

You cannot update a N9 version of SailfishOS with the Jolla Store updater. Your device has different HW adaptation which means that if you managed to download an update there is no way it would boot on your device at all :)

The only way to update SFOS version on N9 is to install a new FS image, just the way you originally installed it. However, 1.0.7.16 version for N9 is not ready yet, it is missing few pretty important bits...

Okay i understand. But where can i find this FSimage when its availeble? In the mean time i like to instal version 1.0.6.x where can i find it. Thanks

I believe the latest might be version 1.0.2.5, so you have a pretty difficult time finding 1.0.6.x :) :)

YYou cant, the main issue seems to be the kernel version on N9 which is way too old. Work is being done to try to get a newer kernel on N9, but progress is not fast.
