When searching for contacts, the current version of the contacts app only seems to include the name fields.
Please consider all contact fields when searching for something, there are quite some reasons why this is useful (+ the information is already available).
It would also be very helpful to have an additional "Notes" field for every contact, intended for miscellaneous, free-form information.

As far as I have tried, the search function in Contacts includes besides the name fields (first name, last name, nickname) also the multiple field called "Details" (you can add Company, Job title, Role, Department, Middle name).
Of course it would be great to have a Note field and to be able to extend the search to all fields. Even better would be to have that extended search for contacts in a global search function.

Suggestion: Advanced search over more contact fields/details can be realised by searching all name fields and have a field/tag-selections above the searchbox/-letters (similar to word suggestion above keyboard) - this way one can search via firstname, lastname, nickname or company and if needed restrict the search to one of this fields

Both are very important requirements! Please give us a note field and a search capability for it.

This would be relatively powerful, i.e. I can find a person by knowing he has a @yahoo mail account and a certain german landline area code.
I particularly would like to see phone numbers added to the search,
