[Jolla launcher] Swipe detection makes typing awkward

Because of the swipe detection to go back to the launcher typing becomes a bit awkward – pressing the p, q, shift or backspace buttons triggers almost always the swipe back to home animation (until you leave the screen with your finger again – i.e. instantly, so you don't really see), making typing these characters very awkward.

You also see this pretty clearly, when trying to scroll, i.e. in the settings menu, with your finger half on the bezel. It just doesn't work, because the launcher seems to be catching the swipe and just doing nothing with it …

This happens on my Xperia Z1 using CM11 – not sure whether it's just related to the device, but I don't think so.

No, not device specific. The swipe detection reserves a slice of the edge so it can pass the events to Qt side.

Unfortunately, the launcher cannot pass the events to the app since on Android the launcher is a third party app rather than a part of the system.
