When I look at the list of apps in the Launcher, I can't figure out the order. I understand the "core" apps being in the top area, but the rest of the apps seem to be in random, or at least not alphabetical. Can it be made alphabetical?

It's actually currently alphabetical by package name. Sorting by application title would definitely make more sense, and we'll implement it in a future update.

You can rearrange them to your hearts desire ;) Just press and hold on one of the icons, and you can move them around.
Also I just accidentally found out there are folders. Drop an app icon on to another one.
