launch an android app.

hold the phone in portrait mode

slowly tilt the phone till it is at a 45 degree angle but the android app is still in portrait mode.

then hit the volume up and down buttons. the volume indicator on the screen will appear but it will be oriented in landscape mode.

I can make a video to show it if necessary.

I believe all android apps. but I tested this with 3 android apps and they all show the same behaviour - facebook, Skype, whatsapp.

when rotating the phone to trigger orientation change (e.g. rotate the phone 90 degrees), I notice the volume indicator bar rotates first and a split second later the android app rotates.
