If I zoomed into a html-mail (e.g. mail from together@jolla.com) I had trouble to find out how to go back to folder view. Also if you scroll up the 3 dots are gone. Pulley menu is still there and working.

You need to unzoom first and than the 3 dots are visible again and you can go back.

If the view is zoomed a single double tap doesn't unzoom fully. You need to double tap twice.

Edit: Double tap function became very unreliable with 1.0.3.8.

Yes this is quite annoying and a suboptimal way of working - having to unzoom just to get out of the current email, it gives the impression that email has a bug. Obviously I can understand that while zoomed in the user will be panning around and this could be misinterpreted as a backward swipe, but that's the problem with the gestures and something Jolla need to work out because the requirement to unzoom to get back to the folder list is horrible. Maybe adding a "Back" option to the pulley would at least work until a better solution can be determined, though I think scrolling all the way over to the left and then a good swipe from left to right should work as the "back" gesture and be unambiguous (maybe?). Anyway, can't stay as it is.

I think this is a general sailfish silica bug. Seen this is other apps like tinywebbrowser and also the RSS feed application. All using Webkit btw.

@mike7b4: Your post isn't an answer, it's just further discussion and should not have been posted as an Answer. Maybe consider converting your post to a comment.

@Milhouse: the panning/swipe mixup issue isn't a real issue imo, since you would notice if the movement is handled as a pull back and interrupt your action. Also adding threshold, as in pulley menu, where you hit border first and have to redo the pull to activate the pulley (or back).
