I'm still very unhappy with the caldav implementation. For me it is really unreliable. Sometimes I have to put in my password a further time, to make it work again. But there is just the next Bug. If you mistype, there is no warning The phone just accepts the wrong password. And the sync is now broken for obvious reasons. Unfortunatly the manual sync is still not working, so testing with different settings is pain.

The manual sync seems to work but it is still intransparent what is happening in the background.

E.g under which circumstances the end time is manupulated to the start time?

Yes, I'm unhappy too with CalDAV + ownCloud at the moment :-(

Are you sure? At the moment I have the feeling CalDAV doesn't work at all. I have two different CalDAV Servers: egroupware and ownCloud. I have massive problems with both. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't work and even worse sometimes it seems that my Jolla kills some entries without a reason. Syncing manually doesn't work with both of them. Further I have still two calendar enties in "manage calendars" in the calendar app, which accounts I have already deleted anyway they do not disappear there. The Calendar on the Jolla phone is nearly unusable for me (ok the local one works). I think I will try it now with syncevolution. I don't want to wait again for the next update.

I'm sure that "syncronize" is doing something now. But don't ask me what ;-)

I have the problem with start- and endtime which seems to be damaged by Jolla. Endtime is equal to starttime at the end. And at the moment, I have strange events which are not seen by Owncloud 6.0.4 anymore but are still present on Jolla and Thunderbird.

Syncevolution has at least a very long and detailed log and you can switch the syncmode (slow, dual, from server, from client...). And it knows CardDAV!

Jolla's own CalDAV ist still experimental and ... unusable :-(

So to see the things more positive: At least I'm not the only one who is somewhat frustrated by the Jolla CalDAV implementation ;)
