[feature request] Browser: jump to top

On long webpages or forums it is a pain to scroll up, when needed (eg. menu or next page button is on top). There would be a jump-to-top function needed, either a button or a special stroke or something.

I would say this is a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/12224/enhancement-ui-jump-to-top-bottom-of-large-screen-partly-implemented-in-10716/

But as a comment to your question, I think it was bad that some applications got jump to top/bottom functionality with 1.0.7.16, but not the browser.

as workaround until this is implemented: just double-tap on some empty area, works on most pages

i guess you must tap on the body of the website or some wrapping element

Double tap zooms in/out, it doesn't scroll to the top as the question requests.

this depends on where you tap, that's why i wrote tap on "empty area".

for example, when you are on this very page, scroll to the bottom and then scroll a bit to the right, where is much empty white space. double tap on this empty white space and the page gets scrolled to the top... just test it

That is a zoom behavior, not a scroll behavior. The browser zooms in on the top of the element you just double-tapped and in the case of the empty space you tapped on it is the container/box element that includes the top as well. Try double-tap the white space to the left, or below this comment, instead and see what happens.

i know of course, that it's not a build-in feature, but it works and i use it often...

the sidebar would be nicer though, like in lists and webcat

this was more meant as a workaround

Then you should not say "it's already there", but instead that you have a workaround.
