EDIT: Duplicate of: https://together.jolla.com/question/8887/bug-contact-name-doesnt-appear-when-receiving-a-call/

I have one person in my Contacts who has only 8 numbers long phone number (e.g. 050 12 345. Referred from now on as "local"). I've saved his number to Contacts with the country code for Finland (e.g. +358 50 12 345. Referred from now on as "international") so his number should be recognized. If I call him using his local number it is not recognized properly and instead of his name I only get his number on the screen.

The same thing happens when I send him a SMS. When I send him a SMS with only using his local number I get his local number in Messages but not his name. Messages doesn't even recognize him when I type his local number in the recipient-field. However if I type his number as an international one it is recognized properly. Best example to see this in action is to watch how the "Hello, recipient"-field in SMS reacts. If I use the local number it only says "Hello" but the moment I use the international one it is changed to "Hello, Jaakko" (Jaakko being an example).

I tried this with other contacts local numbers, who's numbers were at minimum 10 numbers long (e.g. 050 123 4567), and they were recognized properly and numbers were translated to names when the messages were sent.

Current system version is 1.0.8.19.

Thanks. Closing this as duplicate and adding duplicate-detection since the original question is linking here for the 8 numbers information. Feel free to change tags if they are wrong.
