Can't call to Jolla after update 1.0.8.19 [duplicate]

After update 1.0.8.19 I have been having a lot of troubles to be accessed via phone. Jolla looks to be fine in Elisa (operator) 4G network but anyone can't access me by calling. "User is unreachable...."

Strange is that 4G data, mails etc works fine. Jolla show that phone has almost full 4G network status. You have zero change to even quess that you are not available via phone!

This is a major problem! MUST HAVE FIX NOW!

On a French 4G network, I noticed that I miss some calls (tested by calling myself from my home land line) due to a slow switch to 2G for voice call. I then forced the phone to 3G. I didn't retry since 1.0.8.x.

Works fine for me with Elisa-SIM and 4G on. Send me an email to jarkko.torppa@elisa.fi, with your phone-number and problem-ticket-id (you have opened one, have you ?) and i'll try to get the mobile-center guys to take a look at this.

Just to be clear: When you switch your Jolla to 3G or 2G, it works fine?

Had similar problem with LV operator LMT. For 2 days i was not receiving any calls or missed call notifications. Only after phone restarted by itself while waze navigating, i sarted receiving calls again. People, whose calls i missed told me that they were getting split second calling signal, then call disconnected with message on screen: "no 3G coverage".

Okej - Not Interested on this device anymore! I just bought a new Lumia phone 925.

Company which puts out an firmware wich has a huge amount of bugs and major fails announces that it goes to summer vacation and will update it's firmware later on autum - that's not accectable! This is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and underestimating of your customers needs. Your phone went to bad to unusable and you went holidays.... whow! There is no such company which would do this and survive for next 12 months alive!

So thank you - you other customers for peer support- I'm sorry but I can't be here anymore solving the same issues over and over again! I must do my work with reliable(enough) phone. Not sure that lumia is that much better but what I have head from our colleques - it works just fine.

Here's listed a few reasons why new Lumia:

  1. The phone is unreachable on 4G/3G network (showstopper)
  2. WLAN and 3/4G connections fails (showstopper)
  3. Bluetooth does not work witch car kits (security issue and showstopper)
  4. Phone UI freezes (showstopper)
  5. Rebootinig the device has huge problems to get it started
  6. Android applications does not work fully - too much limitation to read/write to sd-cards etc...
  7. Exchange sync limited - does not sync subfolders! (showstopper)
  8. Here maps - Bad quality navication solution ever seen!

To bad to see you go, when I had an issue with the phone Jolla reacted quickly and solved the issue very fast. I hope hey will fix your issue asap and make you a happy customer again!

I am also close to dumping my Jolla as I have a similar issue.

@BonoNL, I don't endorse his decision, but I can relate to his pain! It is not 1 issue that Jolla support can fix in an instant, otherwise they already would have! It's 8 major bugs, that have persisted for months, and some of them, like the network connectivity have gotten worse, not better!!

@Jani68 Sorry to hear that, those seem to bee major issues indeed. Could you clarify which operator you are using, and if Lumia has any of those "1. The phone is unreachable on 4G/3G network" problems? Thanks.

if you need a phone that "just works" - get an iPhone :) Jolla is about choice and because it's the new player in town, there will be sacrifices. i'm not dissing you - I understand your frustration and in your case you need a phone that works. sad to see you go anyway.
