As the title says. I don’t know what could be causing this. I have had disconnects before, but before the latest OS upgrade (, I was able to reconnect without rebooting. Not anymore.

This has happened two times since the upgrade, never before it.

Edit: This might be just a bug in XMPP status indicator. I received and could send XMPP messages while I seemed to be offline.

Do you have "Developer Mode" enabled ?

Yes, I have.

@Sami-Perkele open the terminal, run the command "journalctl -f" with root permission and see if you find something interesting when you try to reconnect to your XMPP account.

Ah indeed, the reboot fixes this issue. But disconnection happens often due to switching between networks :(

Ok, so people actually talk to me while I thought I was offline... even if I switch to Available/Away it switches to Offline and people still talk to me... seems a status issue.

Still the same problem here ( Journalctl says:

Jolla mission-control-5[983]: GLIB WARNING ** mcd - request_connection_cb: RequestConnection failed: Name 'org.freedesktop.Telepathy.Connection.gabble.jabber.<myjabberid>_2fJolla' already in use by this process</myjabberid>
