Can't add device to Sailfish SDK (deploying... 0%)

When i try to add my phone as a device to Sailfish SDK it gets stuck on 0% on a deploying... dialogue. I have done this before but its been about 4 month since I last did any development so a lot have changed, both with my computer, phone and the SDK. I can connect via ssh wlan/usb and when i press "Test connection" in the setup wizard it gets connected, but when i press "finish" I get a dialogue with "deploying..." and a progress-bar that is stuck on 0%

I have the latest update for the phone and the latest sdk, downloaded yesterday

Anyone have any info on this? are there apps that are known to interfere that i might have installed or anything else. It might help if i reset the device but its a lot of work to get everything back the way i want it so i would like to try other options first

At first try doing a clean install by following this procedure:

  1. Uninstall Sailfish SDK
  2. Manually remove the "SailfishAlpha4" folder, which can be found in your home directory under .config. Or in Windows under C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming. This will delete your QtCreator configuration and recent history.
  3. Install the latest version of Sailfish SDK
  4. Try adding the Mer ARM device again

Thanks but already tried that. Also did a fresh install on osx (I use ubuntu 14.04 normally) with same outcome

Ok, and you don't get any error message in the "deploying..." dialog even after ~30s? If so, I would suggest you to remove the .ssh directory (/home/nemo/.ssh) from the device and try adding the Mer ARM device again in the SailfishOS IDE. If you've added any of your own keys to the device, remember to backup those first.

No i get no errors at all and i had it running for about an hour or so one time. Yeah i have tried that to, but I tried it again and also removed keys in SailfishOS/vmsare/ssh... with out success. I have made backups of my phone and started to remove applications one by one to see if there are anything there. If that isn’t working i will reset the phone and see

During the "Deploying..." step it should send the public key to the device using the password provided by the user in the public key deployment page of the wizard. Does it manage to recreate .ssh with new content in authorized_keys?

Yes it is recreated i now have 2 keys in that file. (i have tried 2 times since i removed it)
