hi all, once again i absolutley love my jolla. the thing is i have an experia z1 and i am using that at the moment, i dont want to, but since the last update my handset has become almost unusable. asking me every 5 minutes which internet conection i want to use, wifi disconecting randomly, active paynes on my home screen after i shut them still being there but not visable. the only way to fix the last two is a reboot. i so want to love this phone and the comunity is excelent but my handset has actually got worse and not better.the z1 has better specs, and to be fair is much better at almost every thing but is just soul less and android sheep. i love my jolla but it is getting harder by the day to justify using it. i am not bashing the jolla i do genuinly love it but......how long for ????

What is your question? How can we help?

i guess my question is will i have to wait untill sept for the next update to sort out these problems, or will there be some kind of hotfix. the wifi and network problems seem to be quite widespread. i have by the way factory reset my device 3 times to no avail. thanks, Matt.

I can confirm the issues regarding WiFi and "hanging apps" on the multitasking homescreen (shows a big X in a circle with black background). You can't shut them down and when you select it you only see a black screen still unable to close it. Also, it randomly turns on mobile data after reboot. Not always, but sometimes. None of these occurred on earlier versions.

The wifi and internet connectivity issues are there since Jolla was released. I have it permamently since december and seems that Jolla just can't fix it. :(

@naughtydog: I'd suggest you split the two issues into separate questions (hanging apps and connectivity) so that they can be tracked. Also, provide more detailed info, like: what are the technical parameters of the networks you're on when it happens? do all apps 'hang' the way you describe it or only Android/only sailfish apps? etc... Also, I bet there already are open questions on theae topics you can contribute to. It's always easier to have one issue discussed in one thread so all the votes are counted in one place and no information gets lost. ;)

Have you already tried to restore factory settings of your Jolla. I don't know better, but I'd suspect it to be a possible fix. Let us know whether it helps or not.
