Hi everybody,

I installed Tapatalk from APK and everything is running fine except notifications which get never fired. It looks like it does not subscribe correctly to the push notifications services of the forum or something.

Has anyone a working setup with Tapatalk at SailfishOS?

I am using Tapatalk, and no notifications get fired. But I must admit that most Android apps have this problem (Whatsapp, but also Amazon Store and so on).

Ok, thank you I thought it is only a problem with Tapatalk :). Because for me the Amazon Store fires notifications when downloading something.

Maybe there is some hidden setting in the build.prop which prevents the Apps from sending out notification.

Hi there... I believe it is not... Android notifications are produced mostly trough GCM (Google Cloud Messaging) and you must have Google Play services installed to have this working correctly...

That could be a good explanation :-/. I hoped that when I install an app through for example amazon store the notifications are their.

Thanks, that makes a good explanation.
