Loss of mobile network connection

Recently (but some weeks after the 1.0.8 update) my Jolla started losing mobile network connection completely - not just for mobile data, but for everything. It displays no operator and behaves as if it was in some remote area with no connection at all. As far as I know, only rebooting helps.

I saw this happen three times so far and it sucks, as I was disconnected for several hours without noticing and people had tried to call/text me.

has happened to me as well; interestingly mostly when both WLAN and mobile data are on.

I don't know if it's a duplicate or not, so I don't close the question (yet). For me the problem somehow disappeared on it's own, maybe linked to taking out the battery for 10 minutes to reduce/temporarily fix random reboots. As of now it hasn't come back, so I haven't tried if it has to do with connman settings.
