Call log improvements [duplicate]

Hi,
I've been wondering why phone log shows only 1 call per contact? If I sometimes example remember that my dad called me last saturday and I have to know the time, I can't find it if we have called each other after sunday. Or sometimes I have to call some unknown number that I remember called me on monday around 9, but I can't find it because I don't remember that we called also on tuesday.
Why can't the log show all events?
Also it could be nice to be able to see the log when calling. Now it's same program and I don't know how can I see the log when I am on the phone. Sometimes it could be useful to tell customers numbers to colleague.
