I'd like to see this feature, typical of desktop browsers, ported to mobile. This will allow one to have, for example, an HTML5 video playing in one session, whilst the user browses another webpage in another window, and one can use the home screen to switch between them. Alternatively, one should be able to create new tabs without the browser automatically disabling media from any previous tabs. Again, I can do this on the desktop, Sailfish with it's true multitasking should be capable of this right out the gate.

Webcat browser allows you to do this...

Webcat has other issues, like displaying sites incorrectly or bring up different versions despite using the same user agent as the default browser. Not for me I'm afraid.

This is a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/17051/opening-multiple-instances-of-browser-at-a-time/ (though that one is closed with Webcat accepted as answer, but it could be reopened).

For a more general approach: https://together.jolla.com/question/51747/open-multiple-instances-of-app-to-multitask-between-them/

+1 for "duplicate": We already have a browser for this, and a question answered with it

Thanks @ssahla, I've reopened that request by @Manankanchu as it has more votes. I'll close this one then.
