Unlinking/deleting phone number in People?

Is there a way to unlink a phone number from one person and link to another? Changed some phones within family. One person had two numbers. Wanted to move one number to another contact. Did not find a way. Then selected that number and selected "delete" from pull menu. That did not delete the number, but the whole contact. Maybe there is lack of functionality or it is not intuitive. (Or is that something that should be done elsewhere)

In People app choose the first the "contact 1" followed with the pulley menu selection for edit or link/unlink.

Under edit mode you can tap category "phones" to show all the saved phone numbers for the "contact 1".

Long tap to the number you want to work with => menu will appear, where it is possible to select also delete for that number only.

In case you are moving number to another contact you may also select the phone number of "contact 1" under edit with long tap, thus placing the number to the clipboard for safety before selecting delete action.

The clipboard allows easy move of the deleted number to "contact 2".

If I remember correctly all the contacts that are synchronized via internet service like google or facebook ar not possible to edit via Jolla phone.

Thanks. Realized later that linking separate entries is technically quite different than unlinking/swithcing phone numbers. It is not a big problem, but noticed that now the original entry for the first person in internet service does not match the phone data anymore, but the second (new) person has the correct data in the service as well. But sure, that should have been the way to go. I maybe thought more that phone numbers would have a "tag" that connects them to persons, and one could easily change the flag. Anyway, thanks.
