Hello!

KitKat has the option to hide the stock Android buttons (so called "Immersive mode") and I was wondering if we'd get a fresh Android runtime version including this, because the bezels + the back button really make it difficult to play games on the Jolla.

Closed as the Android back-button bar can be toggled via the events-view menu, when AlienDalvik Control is installed. Alternatively one can use the older "Hide/Unhide android navigation bar".
Additionally one may install the Patch "Back-Button Gesture for Android-Apps" from Patchmanager 2.0's web-catalog.

There is a drawback of this method. The suggestion line above the virtual keyboard becomes transparent and covers a portion of the app. In WhatsApp because of this its difficult to press the send button. In the Twitter app the location button and picture button don't work when you try to tweet. The portrait mode is affected you can still use the buttons in landscape orientation

Yes, I can confirm that. Anyone, any solution for the keypad issue?
